- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 package (3 ounce) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 cup cold water
- Whipped cream for topping (optional)
- Ground nutmeg for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggnog and boiling water.
- Add the instant vanilla pudding mix and whisk until dissolved.
- In a small bowl, sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over the cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes to soften.
- Heat the softened gelatin mixture gently in a microwave for about 30 seconds, or until completely dissolved.
- Stir the dissolved gelatin into the eggnog mixture.
- Pour the mixture into individual serving dishes or a mold.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
- Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with nutmeg before serving, if desired.
