Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil.
- Add flour and stir vigorously until a ball of dough forms.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Beat in eggs one at a time.
- Stir in sugar and vanilla extract.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
- Drop dough by spoonfuls into hot oil.
- Fry until golden brown and puffed.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Ensure oil is at the correct temperature for even cooking.
- Do not overcrowd the fryer.
- Serve warm for best results.
