- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Add milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla. Stir until smooth.
- Heat oil in a pan to 350°F.
- Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil.
- Fry for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Dust with powdered sugar or glaze as desired.
Notes
- Use a thermometer for accurate oil temperature.
- Do not overcrowd the pan while frying.
- Let the donuts cool before adding toppings.
