A simple recipe for a sweet and crunchy fruit salsa served with cinnamon-sugar tortilla chips.

- 1 cup diced fresh strawberries
- 1 cup diced fresh pineapple
- 1 cup diced fresh mango
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 8 (6-inch) flour tortillas
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine strawberries, pineapple, mango, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, and honey. Stir to combine. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brush both sides of each tortilla with melted butter.
- In a small bowl, mix together granulated sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over both sides of the tortillas.
- Cut each tortilla into wedges. Arrange the wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the chips are golden brown and crisp. Let cool completely.
- Serve the fruit salsa with the cinnamon chips.
Notes
- You can substitute other fruits like kiwi, blueberries, or peaches.
- For a spicier salsa, add a pinch of finely minced jalapeño.
