Description

Tender and flavorful baby back ribs cooked low and slow on the BBQ.


Ingredients

  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to low heat (around 225°F).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Rub the spice mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.
  5. Place the ribs on the grill, meaty side up.
  6. Close the lid and cook for 2-3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.
  7. Brush the ribs with BBQ sauce during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  8. Remove from the grill and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For extra tender ribs, wrap them in foil after 2 hours of cooking and continue to cook for another hour before adding the BBQ sauce.
  • You can use your favorite BBQ sauce for this recipe.
