Delicious bite-sized seafood snacks coated in a crispy breadcrumb exterior.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb mixed seafood (shrimp, crab, or fish), finely chopped
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix seafood, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Shape mixture into small balls or patties.
- Dip each piece in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry poppers until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
Notes
- Serve with tartar sauce or lemon wedges.
- For baked version: place on greased baking sheet and bake at 400°F for 15 minutes.
