- 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, whisk together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another shallow dish, beat the eggs.
- In a third shallow dish, place the panko breadcrumbs.
- Dip each chicken tender first in the flour mixture, then in the beaten eggs, and finally coat thoroughly with panko breadcrumbs.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange the coated chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring not to overcrowd. You may need to cook in batches.
- Lightly spray the tenders with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can double-dip the chicken tenders in egg and panko.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauces like ketchup, honey mustard, or ranch.
