- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, milk, ranch seasoning mix, and black pepper.
- Mix until all ingredients are well combined and the chicken is evenly coated.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 8×8 inch baking dish.
- If using, mix the breadcrumbs with the melted butter and sprinkle evenly over the top of the casserole.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through and bubbly.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can use leftover rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Adjust the amount of milk to reach your desired consistency.
- For a golden-brown topping, you can add a little extra cheese on top before baking.
