Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium cabbage, chopped
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Layer half the chopped cabbage in a greased casserole dish. Top with half the beef mixture.
  5. Repeat layers. Dot with butter.
  6. Cover and bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Uncover, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for 15 more minutes or until bubbly.
