- 1 pound cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 (1 ounce) package dry ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon
- 1 (32 ounce) bag frozen tater tots
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, and ranch seasoning mix. Stir until well mixed.
- Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer over the chicken mixture.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the tater tots are golden brown.
- Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute cream of mushroom soup for cream of chicken soup if desired.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle an additional 1/4 cup of cheese over the tater tots halfway through baking.
