Description

Crispy wonton cups filled with a creamy crab and cream cheese mixture, perfect for holiday parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces crab meat, drained and flaked
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. Press one wonton wrapper into each cup of the mini muffin tin, forming a cup shape. Brush the inside of each cup lightly with vegetable oil.
  3. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp. Let cool slightly.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Spoon the crab mixture into the baked wonton cups.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the filling.
  • You can substitute imitation crab meat for fresh crab meat.
