Ingredients

  • 12 large jalapeno peppers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 oz crumbled cooked bacon
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, cilantro, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Fill each jalapeno half with the cream cheese mixture.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix breadcrumbs and melted butter.
  6. Coat the filled jalapenos with the breadcrumb mixture.
  7. Place poppers on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the topping is golden brown.
