Description
A simple recipe for a creamy chai tea latte made with coconut milk.
Ingredients

- 1 chai tea bag
- 8 oz water
- 4 oz coconut milk (full fat recommended)
- 1 tsp sweetener (honey or maple syrup)
- Pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Heat water in a small saucepan until simmering.
- Remove from heat and steep the chai tea bag for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bag.
- In a separate small saucepan, gently heat the coconut milk until warm, do not boil.
- Stir the sweetener into the warm coconut milk until dissolved.
- Pour the brewed chai tea into a mug.
- Pour the warm coconut milk mixture over the tea.
- Sprinkle with ground cinnamon if desired.
Notes
- For a stronger chai flavor, use 1.5 tea bags.
- You can froth the coconut milk separately for a foam top.
