- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Mix ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Form into patties and cook in a pan over medium heat for 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and cook onions until caramelized.
- Sprinkle flour over onions and stir.
- Pour in beef broth and simmer until thickened.
- Return patties to pan and coat with sauce.

- Use 80% lean ground beef for juicier patties.
- Cook onions slowly for deeper flavor.
