Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 oz egg noodles, cooked
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add beef slices and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onions and mushrooms until softened.
  4. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Stir in flour and cook for another minute.
  6. Slowly pour in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Bring to a simmer.
  7. Return beef to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes.
  8. Stir in sour cream and heat through without boiling.
  9. Season with salt and pepper.
  10. Serve over cooked egg noodles, garnished with parsley.
