Description
Simple apple slices topped with caramel, pecans, and chocolate for a quick dessert.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 medium apples
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for melting chocolate)
Instructions
- Wash and core the apples. Slice each apple into 8 wedges.
- Arrange the apple slices on a serving platter.
- Warm the caramel sauce slightly if it is too thick. Drizzle the caramel sauce evenly over the apple slices.
- Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the caramel.
- Melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil (if using) in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the apples.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use firm apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp for the best texture.
- If you prefer a cleaner drizzle, place the melted chocolate in a small piping bag or a plastic bag with a corner snipped off.
