A creamy and savory pasta dish featuring chicken, bacon, and a rich garlic cream sauce.

- 1 lb pasta
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, reserving about 1 cup of pasta water.
- While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add chopped bacon to the same skillet and cook until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving drippings in the skillet.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Return the cooked chicken and bacon to the skillet. Add the drained pasta.
- Toss everything together to coat the pasta and ingredients in the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes with the garlic.
- You can substitute chicken thighs for chicken breast.
- Other vegetables like spinach or mushrooms can be added.
