Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups pitted cherries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time.
  4. Alternately add flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture. Stir in vanilla.
  5. Fold in chopped cherries.
  6. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar.
  7. Pour half the batter into the pan. Spoon cream cheese mixture over it. Add remaining batter.
  8. Bake for 50-55 minutes. Let cool before serving.

  • Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
