Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 (19 ounce) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken pieces and Cajun seasoning. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add the cooked tortellini and chicken to the skillet. Stir to coat everything in the sauce.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the tortellini is heated through and tender.
- Stir in fresh parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust Cajun seasoning to your spice preference.
- For a lighter sauce, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
- Add your favorite vegetables like broccoli or bell peppers for extra color and nutrients.
