Ingredients

- 4 large carrots, cut into sticks
- 1 cup chickpeas, cooked
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp water (optional, for consistency)
Instructions
- Wash and peel the carrots. Cut them into sticks.
- In a blender, combine chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, cumin, cayenne pepper, and salt.
- Blend until smooth. Add water if needed for a creamier texture.
- Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl.
- Serve carrot sticks with the spicy hummus.
Notes
- Store hummus in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Adjust cayenne pepper for more or less spice.
- Use fresh carrots for the best crunch.
