- 1 baguette, sliced diagonally
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/4 cup diced ripe tomatoes
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil and minced garlic.
- Brush the olive oil and garlic mixture onto each slice of baguette.
- Arrange the bread slices on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until lightly golden.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle mozzarella cheese over each slice.
- Top with diced tomatoes and fresh basil.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Return to the oven for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve warm.
