Ingredients

- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat chicken wings dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Place wings on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- While wings are baking, combine brown sugar, pineapple juice, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in a saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.
- In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
- Gradually whisk the slurry into the simmering sauce until it thickens.
- Remove sauce from heat.
- Once wings are cooked, toss them in the prepared glaze until evenly coated.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For crispier wings, bake for an additional 5-10 minutes after glazing.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds before serving.
