Description
A calming and refreshing non-alcoholic drink with blueberry, lavender, and chamomile flavors.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 cup brewed chamomile tea, chilled
- 1/4 cup dried culinary lavender buds
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons honey or agave nectar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Sparkling water, to top
- Fresh mint sprigs, for garnish
Instructions
- Steep the lavender buds in hot water for 10 minutes. Strain and discard the buds. Let the lavender infusion cool.
- In a small saucepan, combine the blueberries, 1/4 cup water, and honey or agave nectar. Cook over medium heat until the blueberries burst and the mixture thickens slightly, about 5-7 minutes. Mash the blueberries.
- Strain the blueberry mixture through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids.
- In a pitcher, combine the blueberry puree, chilled chamomile tea, lavender infusion, and lemon juice. Stir well.
- To serve, fill glasses with ice. Pour the mocktail mixture into each glass, filling about halfway.
- Top with sparkling water.
- Garnish with fresh mint sprigs.
Notes
- Ensure you use culinary-grade lavender.
- Adjust sweetness to your preference.
- For a stronger lavender flavor, steep the buds for a longer period.
