Description
A refreshing, non-alcoholic drink made with fresh blueberries and blackberries.
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup fresh blackberries
- 1 cup sparkling water or club soda
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon simple syrup (optional)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Place the blueberries and blackberries in a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker.
- Muddle the berries gently until they release their juices.
- Add the lime juice and simple syrup, if using. Stir briefly.
- Divide the muddled berry mixture between two serving glasses filled with ice.
- Top each glass with sparkling water or club soda.
- Stir lightly to combine. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a sweeter drink, increase the amount of simple syrup.
- Garnish with a few whole berries or a lime wheel.
- If you do not have fresh berries, frozen berries work well; thaw them slightly first.
