Ingredients

  • 100g melted butter
  • 500g cream cheese
  • 150g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 200ml sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 200g dark chocolate, melted
  • 300g cherries, pitted
  • 2 tbsp cherry liqueur (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 160°C (325°F).
  2. Mix cookie crumbs and melted butter, then press into a springform pan to form the base.
  3. Bake the base for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  4. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  6. Stir in sour cream, vanilla, and melted chocolate.
  7. Pour the mixture over the cooled base.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes until set but slightly wobbly in the center.
  9. Let it cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  10. Top with cherries and a drizzle of cherry liqueur before serving.
