Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Hard-boiled eggs, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, celery, onion, relish, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the drained macaroni to the bowl and mix well.
  4. Stir in chopped hard-boiled eggs, if using.
  5. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a tangier flavor, add a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.
  • Garnish with paprika or fresh parsley.
