Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs french fries, frozen or fresh
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning

- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- Cook french fries according to package directions until golden brown and crispy. Set aside.
- Toss chicken breasts with taco seasoning.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes per side.
- Shred the cooked chicken using two forks.
- Return shredded chicken to the skillet and mix with BBQ sauce until coated. Heat through for 2 minutes.
- Spread cooked fries on a large oven-safe platter or baking sheet.
- Spoon the BBQ chicken mixture evenly over the fries.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken and fries.
- Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 5-7 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven. Top with sour cream, chopped red onion, and cilantro.
Notes
- If you prefer, use rotisserie chicken instead of cooking raw chicken breasts.
- Adjust the amount of BBQ sauce based on your preference for sweetness and tang.
- For extra heat, add a dash of hot sauce to the chicken mixture.
