A simple smoothie made with banana and chocolate chips.
Ingredients

- 1 ripe banana, frozen
- 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
- Place the frozen banana, milk, yogurt, chocolate chips, and vanilla extract into a blender.
- Blend on high speed until completely smooth. Add ice cubes if a thicker consistency is desired and blend again.
- Pour the smoothie into a glass.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a thicker smoothie, use only half a banana and add more ice.
- You can substitute almond milk or soy milk for regular milk.
