Description

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana, frozen
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the frozen banana, milk, yogurt, chocolate chips, and vanilla extract into a blender.
  2. Blend on high speed until completely smooth. Add ice cubes if a thicker consistency is desired and blend again.
  3. Pour the smoothie into a glass.
  4. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a thicker smoothie, use only half a banana and add more ice.
  • You can substitute almond milk or soy milk for regular milk.
