Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Press the pie crust into a pie plate.
  3. Layer the sliced onions in the bottom of the crust.
  4. Arrange the tomato slices over the onions.
  5. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon and cheddar cheese over the tomatoes.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise and beaten egg. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Pour the mayonnaise mixture evenly over the cheese.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is set.
