Description
A sweet, soft bread filled with spiced apples, perfect for sharing.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (13.8 ounce) package refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 large apple, peeled, cored, and diced
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
- Open the biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Cut each biscuit into quarters. Place the pieces in the prepared baking pan.
- In a small bowl, mix the diced apple, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Sprinkle the apple mixture evenly over the biscuit pieces in the pan.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the apples and biscuits.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
- While the bread cools slightly, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl to make a simple glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm pull-apart bread before serving.
Notes
- Use a firm apple variety like Honeycrisp or Granny Smith for best texture.
- You can add a small amount of lemon juice to the apples to prevent browning if preparing ahead of time.
