- 2 medium apples
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1 inch piece of fresh ginger
- 1 whole lemon, peeled
- Water (optional, for thinning)
Instructions
- Wash all produce thoroughly.
- Core the apples. Do not peel them.
- Cut the apples and peeled lemon into pieces small enough for your juicer chute.
- Peel the ginger piece.
- Run the apples, cranberries, ginger, and lemon through a juicer according to the manufacturer’s directions.
- Stir the juice well. If the juice is too thick, add a small amount of water and stir again.
- Serve immediately over ice if desired.
Notes
- For a sweeter juice, use sweeter apple varieties like Fuji or Gala.
- If you do not have a juicer, you can blend the ingredients with water and strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
