Ingredients

  • 12 fresh jalapeño peppers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (optional)
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Cut jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and bacon (if using).
  3. Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs and melted butter.
  5. Dip the cheese-filled jalapeño halves into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to coat.
  6. Place poppers in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  7. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Serve hot.
