Description
Crispy jalapeño poppers made in an air fryer.
Ingredients

- 12 fresh jalapeño peppers
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (optional)
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Cut jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.
- In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and bacon (if using).
- Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.
- In a separate bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs and melted butter.
- Dip the cheese-filled jalapeño halves into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to coat.
- Place poppers in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Wear gloves when handling jalapeños to avoid skin irritation.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- For extra spice, leave some seeds in the jalapeños.
