Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Beat the egg in another bowl.
  5. Dip each chicken breast in the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Place chicken in the air fryer basket and lightly spray with olive oil.
  7. Cook for 10 minutes, flip, then cook for another 5 minutes.
  8. Top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  9. Air fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until cheese melts.
  10. Serve immediately.
